When I was trying to close an ad, I accidentally clicked on it and it redirected me to a porn site. I’m really afraid to get hacked. Can I be hacked from simply visiting the site, or do I need to do more than that to actually cause damage to my device?

No. Run a virus scan
ReplyNo, don't worry, the device you used will usually have some form of malware protection and just remember, people visit porn sites a lot. You visiting it once won't have any damage.

ReplyI hate those annoying pop up ads. Likely you're fine if you clicked off it. But clear your cookies cache and everything and run a malware virus scan to be sure.
