lets say hypothetically a friend of urs went on a few dates with a guy. hes asked out a few people b4 her, but she was stupid and said yes anyways bcuz she had a crush. they went on a few dates, and after the last one hes been rlly cold and distant. she desperately wants to talk to him again (like a doofus ofc) and at least b friends but hes been CRAZYYY dry since their last date. what would u tell this friend? personally id tell her to let him go cuz he obviously doesnt care abt her, but its easier said than done. You don't have to advise her in anything. You can try once. Maybe a gentle, "I know you really like him, but honestly, you deserve better." Sometimes if you say something that a person isn't ready to hear, it doesn't matter how true it is, they might not believe you. Be there for her. Listen to her. Support her emotionally. Eventually she will come to the realization by herself.
