As I lie here on the floor

Just like the days before

Losing all sense of time
You see me float away
As I sink into my mind
You see me sink away,
Leaking thoughts and fears

Though I do not yet leak tears.
And as I sink away you think
I’m fine, I’ll soon return

No reason for concern
And yet if you look closer,
Ask the right questions,
And dig deep

I have sunk further than you think.
