Great plan! It's really hard getting started because there are sooo many scams & influencers promoting their diet/workout as the only one (that's their job). So I think the best is to try a bunch of stuff and see what gives you the best results. A good plan will give you solid results in just a week or 2.
Before going to a gym or doing weights, I recommend trying some workouts you find on youtube. Squats are the go-to for glutes. But there are other creative exercises that are pretty cool.
For me, diet is the biggest thing (but like I said it'll be different for everyone). I want muscle tone and strength without bulk, zero fat on my body, so I do a mostly low cal raw vegan diet + tofu & boiled beans for protein. But if you want bulk/size then you might want to go for a high calorie diet, or even "dirty bulking" which is eating everything in sight, then working out hard with heavy weights to build big muscles (the downside is no tone). These are just ideas and personal opinions. My point is try some experiments and figure out what feels right for you.
