Get excited about the helpful thoughts and let all of the others come and stay until they dissolve back into the nothingness from which they came and are replaced.

ReplyYou shouldn't think that he's always perfect, he's got at least some flaws and might accidentally show them to you. Pay attention to his flaws and see if you'll still love him even with those flaws. Besides, if your boyfriend is okay with you being too attached to him, maybe you'll need to accept that as your personality trait and just let it go. If not, I don't know, he probably won't accept you as you are and you can let him go instead or you can improve it.
