This probably isn't the right place to ask but I hope someone could give a tip or advice bc it's a problem I've been dealing with for years and i would like to work on it
I want to be more organised with my time. People suggest timetables or scheduling or planning out your day but this has never worked effectively for me but i'd like it to.
Just to get an idea of my everyday life: i'm a university student studying multiple classes a week, i commute every day to and from uni, its a 2 hr journey in a huge city. I live at home with my family and i never go out bc i don't have friends lol. So most of my 'free' time is spent doing random chores my mother spontaneously asks me to do and just relaxing and simply wasting time. But i want to change that.
So my big question is this:
How can I organise and create a schedule/timetable/plan of my day when my days are usually unpredictable and has activities that are unplanned for? How do I make the most of my time? What truly works for someone that struggles to focus?
I'd appreciate any advice thank you!!!

Good question. I also have problems with that
ReplyTough situation, I don't have any answers but wanted to say you're not alone. I'm taking care of sick family members and every day there's a new crisis or task that has to be done. So it's like you said, it's all unpredictable and depending on others. Occasionally I try designating alone time, where I shut myself in a room and try to work on my personal list of things to do, or try to relax, but you know how it is. That only works as long as people keep out.
In your case have you tried staying on campus longer, so at least you can get away from the unpredictable chores? Maybe hang out at the library or something?
Reply(op here) yeah i could probably try stay longer so i have more time to myself, or get there much earlier bc I prefer not to stay in the city when it gets dark yk haha - thanks for the tips, i hope you and your family are ok! <3
