Ever since I was young, I've been very addicted to porn. My first memory is literally me watching porn and not understanding. I am 14 now, I tried so hard to stop, but I can't. It's impossible. Every time I can't sleep, I watch porn. Every time I'm bored, I watch porn. Every time I'm sad, I watch porn.
It's just this cycle. I've seen so many disturbing things that I've gotten addicted to because I was also heavily unsupervised which led to me being groomed multiple times. I don't know what to do..please help. I feel so sick for finding these messed up things attractive.

Do the no fap challenge. It's doing to be hard the first few days. Take cold showers whenever you feel it. Exercise regularly. If you can join a group and talk to them to keep you accountable and finally if all else fails, type no fap emergency on google and follow the steps. Hope this helps
ReplyIt gets easy after the first week trust me
ReplyFrom a Muslim perceptive, you should lower your gaze, don't look at women other than your family and fast regularly. This should protect you.
ReplyBecause looking at the ground is so much more interesting.
ReplySince you're so young, you probably don't need to be on your devices that much. So after school finishes do other stuff than being on your devices like reading or going outside and playing with friends. If you must be on your device to do homework than do it in the living room where everyone can see you.
ReplyThere's nothing wrong with you. Everyone has sexual feelings. You just have to learn to control it.
ReplyI discovered porn for the first time when someone said "search p-o-r-n-o" on internet (they were spelling letter by letter). I searched it, opened the first website (this was years and years ago) and you know what happened next. I wanted to delete my search history but I was too incompetent and had to tell my brother to delete it (of course, he found out and said I was too young for these things). I think I started touching myself to porn at around 10. I sometimes watch it for entertainment purposes, but mostly to touch myself. I masturbate every day for 17 years by now. I also have a porn addiction. Other factors like I was sexually abused (I would say I was sexually assaulted, but it happened more than a few times), or instances where I was discovering my sexuality and saw a woman change her bras. I wouldn't say it affected me socially, because I barely go out or have friends. I accept it, it's something that gives me pleasure. I think I do it regularly but I don't over do it, I just do it when I need it; with exceptions being that one day I masturbated 5 times.
ReplyYou are still young and exploring. You know you are addicted to pron and you want to get out of it means you know it's wrong and you want to be a better version of yourself. That's the first step. The urges are not gonna stop overnight. The urges are natural but you need to learn to control them. You are a teenager so go out and play, involve yourself in some football games, do exercise, do yoga, read books and talk to your friends. Remember what you really want in life. Even if you somehow ended up on the pron site just repeat to yourself -" is it really worth it? " remembering this and repenting it again and again - you will stop eventually. Respect women's dignity and remember- every woman is someone's mother or daughter. you are still young so try to be more focused on your studies and be successful rather than being addicted and wasting your life. Be a Gentleman and not a loser. Stay blessed and happy.
ReplyPorn addiction is a very real and terrible thing, and it's good you're able to recognize it as an addiction.
I suffered from it years ago as well, I still find myself starting to fall into it every now and again unfortunately.
The main things you want to focus on to get over it, and curb the addiction, is to make a routine for yourself. Go to bed and wake up at a regular time, start incorporating a level of physical activity into your schedule, pick up a hobby of some kind.
The most crucial part for me was physical activity, I had too much extra energy and nothing to do with it, thus starting my addiction. I ended up going running daily, it kinda sucked for a couple weeks but got fun after. Eventually you find yourself having more of a regimen unintentionally, you wake up and go to bed early automatically, you start to have more interest in fun hobbies outta nowhere, everything starts feeling a bit more "up".
In simplest terms, stay busy and discipline yourself. If you want to have the most freedom and live your best life, start with controlling yourself.
ReplyGo outside your house after school, and try to be around people. Go outside and go on walks and find more activities. You got this <3
ReplyGawd....I bet your forearms are huge?!!!😆
