Another 4
Another 4 days I've been stuck. Now everything makes me feel bad, every word triggers me. I don't want to discourage anyone who ever tried to make progress just...
Can you practice with a group of friends or family? Especially if one or more of your practice audience is going to be at the actual presentation, that might help. Get 2 or 3 co-workers (or students, whoever you're presenting to) and run through part of it. That way it won't be so new & overwhelming when it's time. And when you give the presentation you can focus on the 2 or 3 people who already know it.
Small tip: wear boots! Seriously, this helped me so much. To be just an inch or two physically taller and more "grounded", it helped my confidence tons.
ReplyI do also have several presentations this month of february and oh I can totally relate to you. The one thing that I can assure you that will make you feel better is to practice, and practice and practice until you know your presentation. The majority of the problem as of why we feel that way is because we are not prepared and we question ourselves. So try to practice as much as you can in your room alone or with someone if you can. But the most important in here is that is just a presentation, you know you did it and you should be proud of yourself just by standing there, because even if it means nothing for another person, I know it is a big step for some. So good luck with your presentation, I know you will do great!!! 🍀Good Luck🍀
ReplyLove, don't forget that time is such a thing that you presenting in front of them will be a past memory in the future. So try your best, even if it does not work out perfectly it is okay!
You are your best-friend and you can always support yourself, so it makes you actually not alone. Everyone has experiences as such don't worry, you can do it!
