So it's my boyfriends birthday the day after tomorrow... we haven't met each other in a while ( 2 months to be more specific) and I am not really sure that we will get a chance to see each other again until may , since I have exams and I need my parents permission to go out each time... I have not prepared any gift for him either which honestly sucks I know... on the top of that I have classes starting on the same day which I can't afford to skip ... I told him that I have classes that day and he just said best of luck ( I am not really sure if he meant it or he was being sarcastic) so the most I can do is meeting him tomorrow but I am not sure if he also wants to see me because every time I talked to him about his birthday and that I might get a chance to see him or he can plan to meet his friends as well .. he seemed pretty much not interested in it ... so I Don't know anymore what should I do? On one side I want to be with him and enjoy as it would be the first time since two months when I'll go out but on the other hand I am not sure if that's what he wants as well also I'll have to ask for my
parents permission ( which is a very nerve-wracking process tbh) also I haven't prepared any gift for him so I feel quite bad about that as well ...
So I'll appreciate any adive 🥲

valentines
i have a crush on this guy at school, let’s call him grey. there’s another dude at school that has/had a crush on my last semester, let’s call him red. so...
Ask him if he wants to see you or not. If you do see him explain why you haven't been able to get him a gift, but a home made card would be nice if you are able to make one that is.
ReplyA home made card is a great idea in my opinion. Otherwise if he has a favorite sports team - a jersey from that team, or anything with his team's logo on it. Cologne, ear buds for his phone, clothing accessories, nice pen, just some idea.
Romantic love is beautiful, but can be oh so fragile. Bask in it. Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
