I think acknowledging it is a good first step which you’ve already done.
Then do some breathing exercise. You can’t control your environment or what happens but you can control your reaction to it (with practice)
When you’re ready you can revisit the stress and see if there is a way to address it. Start by asking questions ie, why am I stressed? Writing it down can help you process it and come up with a plan to address it… hope it helps
ReplyNothing works the same for me every time so I try a bunch. ig you dont wanna hear the self destructive stuff so I’ll skip them (even though those are the most effective). I listen to music real loud. Or I watch a movie or anime show, preferably in a different language to keep my brain occupied. I clean or organize stuff, like shelves, books, collections etc. If you see the common thread, these are all things that focus on small insignificant things but they fully occupy my brain so my thoughts cant wander to bad things.
ReplyBreathe deeply. Tablets called Caruso's Anxiety Aid are good for stress. They are available here in Australia. I don't know where you are. Maybe they are available online.
ReplyI go out in nature. The sounds of running water, birds, even the wind thru the trees is relaxing and can release stress and angst.
