What happened to us.
This isn't a question, it's a statement.
What are we doing?
That's a question.
Making these comedy movie spoofs, doing these protests, whether peaceful or violent.
Do you really think this will do anything? After 200 years of slavery, and you think we can just yell our way to civil rights? There will never be equality, and it's time to face the facts. Segregation is a concept as old as time, even when all of our skin was burnt black. There will always be some adversity with black people in America.
And even in the magical euphoric state of America where we all have equal rights, there will always be that one white man who will look down at you. And no matter what we do, we will always be looking up at him.

I was watching the news last night, and there was this man who was receiving death threats online. What did he do? He simply said that he believes that all live...
Frankly, in my humble opinion, black people are so hyper-focused on being black that they think everything revolves around being black.
Black people born after 1970 have NOT had to live with legally sanctioned racism.
Of course there will always be racism, no one will ever change that. You can't force black people to love white people or vice versa. So long as it's not legally sanctioned like it was before the 1960s.
And the reality is, everyone is racist against other groups. It's human nature. Look at the prison system - everyone groups together by race.
In my observation, from 1970 onwards black people have done more self-imposed damage to their own communities than racists. Gangs, crack, hip-hop, fatherless homes. And please don't tell me it's oppression by upper classes. Because in Africa there is only one class and black people face the same conditions in Africa as they do in Haiti and in the U.S. I mean look at South Africa now; apartheid ended 30 years ago and black people took over; it's now crime ridden and women are oppressed by men.
End hip-hop and fatherless homes. Hip-hop promotes violence, vices such as drugs and objectification of black women. These lead to father-homes. And the vicious cycle continues.
ReplyWhite.
ReplyBlack racist. And they do definitely exist.
ReplyIt's not human nature. Racism is taught.
Because I never looked at another person and pointed out their skin, identity or overall who they are. I never had the energy to give a fuck enough to WANT to think that way.
It's taught. We're breaking the cycle now.
ReplyDream on my friend.
Perhaps you mean hatred of other races/ethnic groups is taught.
But distinguishing groups of people by features and preferring to associate only with people who look similar to you is human nature.
