It’s been months,

But I still look for your jeep.

I’d recognize the bumper stickers.

I’d be aware of the fact that you’re right in front of me.

I find myself specifically looking for it.

In my rear and side view mirrors.

But you got a new car.

I don’t know what kind.

You could be right by me,

And I wouldn’t have a clue.

It’s uneasy.

Not knowing if you’re there.

If you ever were there.

But also kinda freeing
