Fear;
a complex feeling that takes over your body and shortens your breath,
it drops your stomach and shakes your hands.
Warm blood rushes to your face as your cheeks turn into such a rosy red people would think you'd been standing in the sun all day.
Suddenly your words start to flip, your sentences fall apart, and your syllables repeat over and over again until you can't bear to try and explain your thoughts any longer.
Your palms begin to sweat and your mind races.
Your eyes dart back and forth and then to the floor where you feel nothing but shame because all you can do is stare at your shoes and wish for this fighting feeling to pass.
Fear;
uncontrollably horrid and haunting.
But fear isn't all that bad.
You want to get up and do something but the fear of the outcome overcomes you, yet instead of letting all the feelings take over, you stare into the eyes of fear and no longer see it as defeat but you see it as a motive.
You let fear fall as you recollect your breath, and let this feeling be nothing more but the fire in your soul that keeps you going.
Fear;
all consuming yet the very fuel in our hearts that allow us to reach out and take risks,
risks so relevant in the journey of life.
