She had always been told that she was destined for greatness. Her parents, teachers, and peers all seemed to agree that she was smart, talented, and capable of achieving anything she set her mind to. They saw her as a future doctor or teacher, someone who could make a real difference in the world.
But deep down, she knew that wasn't what she wanted. She had always been drawn to the arts - painting, acting, singing - and had dreamed of pursuing a career in one of those fields. But every time she mentioned it to someone else, they would dismiss it as a pipe dream or tell her that it wasn't a practical choice.
As the years went on, the pressure to conform to other people's expectations only grew stronger. Her parents made it clear that they expected her to go to medical school, and her teachers praised her academic achievements while ignoring her creative pursuits. She began to feel like she was living a double life - the successful student by day, the aspiring artist by night.
The stress began to take its toll on her mental health. She started experiencing panic attacks and bouts of depression, feeling like she was trapped in a life that wasn't hers. She tried talking to her parents and teachers about how she was feeling, but they just brushed it off as teenage angst or told her to toughen up.
Eventually, it all became too much for her to bear. One night, after a particularly difficult day at school where she had been reprimanded for doodling in class instead of taking notes, she went home and locked herself in her room. She sat there for hours, staring at the blank canvas on her easel and feeling like everything was hopeless.
In the end, she made a decision that would change everything. She took out a piece of paper and wrote a letter to her parents, explaining how much she loved them but couldn't keep living their version of her life. She told them that she was going to pursue her dreams, no matter how hard it might be.
The next morning, they found her lifeless body on the floor of her room. She had taken an overdose of pills, unable to bear the thought of disappointing everyone around her by following her heart.
It was a tragedy that shook the entire community. People wondered how someone so talented and loved could have felt so alone and hopeless. But for those who knew her best, it was clear that she had been fighting a battle that no one else could see.
If you feel like this don’t worry about disappointing anyone it isn’t their life and if they really love you they’ll support you no matter what you’ll do great ❤️
