In a maze of thoughts, she wandered lost,
Her mind a labyrinth, a tempest tossed.
Each path she took led to a dead end,
Her heart heavy, her soul unable to mend.
She cried for help, but none could hear,
Her pain and sorrow, too much to bear.
She felt so helpless, so alone,
In this endless maze that was her home.
One day a bird appeared in sight,
A symbol of hope, a shining light.
He promised to help her find her way,
To guide her through the maze and never stray.
But as they journeyed through the twists and turns,
She realized with dread what she had learned.
The bird was not there to help her out,
But to lead her to the center, no doubt.
And when they reached the center of the maze,
The bird flew away, leaving her in a daze.
She was back where she started, lost and forlorn,
Her heart shattered, her spirit torn.
So she sat there in the center of the maze,
Lost in thought and lost in a daze.
Wondering if love was worth the pain,
If it was worth getting lost again and again.
For that’s what got her lost here, never to be seen again.
