I have had sleep paralysis for a while now, it usually occurs early in the morning from 12-4. It’s never too bad just hearing gunshots and not being able to move for a few minuets (I live in a pretty sketchy park of Ohio gunshots aint uncommon) well I was just thinking like thank god I don’t have a sleep paralysis demon, however I remember one night specifically I was sleeping on my stomach, as usual, and I wake up suddenly, heart racing, cold sweat, and not being able to move, engines roar in the distance but I hear footsteps circling my room.. it scared me to death but I have a cat so I told myself it was just her. Now that I’m thinking about it though, I was sexually assaulted by my older brother for about a year and when that episode happened he was still doing things to me, especially watching me sleep. So now I’m scared thinking maybe all that time when my brain wasn’t allowing me to move actually did me some good but like what if it was actually him? I sleep in a tank and sweats every night, how often would he do that? Or is my imagination just running wild and in reality it was just my cat lol
