I’m forgetting your voice

I never wanted to feel this way about you and I know I most likely won‘t see you until next year IF I should ever see you again.

I was finding comfort in remembering you though it hurts that I couldn’t say goodbye properly and that you most likely won’t remember me until we meet again.

Now I am starting to forget you. Your voice, I remember it was warm and calming. It made me feel safe. I just can’t recall what exactly it sounded like.

I am scared that you will become a distant memory.
