It’s been months and I could no longer take it - my workmate simply goes in the work with barely doing anything all day long. Without any shame at all. She’s in the admin work, but, by the heavens she barely does any work. All she does most of the time as she sits in the office is watch YouTube all day. You see, she even got scolded once our head visited our satellite office. Yet, she’s shameless at all. Still doing her routine of NOT doing any work.
Our office is a mess. And I do not tolerate messes. Before, I even arrange the magazines and brochures because she stacked them all up in the cabinet. When those are necessary for our work - aka, we use those each time we’re on fieldwork.
What do I do with this shameless workmate that doesn’t work?
I want to quit my job because it’s so unfair that we’re all working out all day long for 8 hours and all she does is laugh at whatever she’s watching on YouTube. And I can clearly see her from my peripheral view beside we’re neighbors. Help me or I might combust!
PS: Does this happen to you too?

Again
I know i will fail again in my exam and i will see my parents' disappointed face again. I am just so useless lmao ......
Unfortunately I've literally saw supervisors playing games on computer during company time. That really infuriated me. Knowing how difficult my own job was. Also yes I've had my fair share of people putting forth little effort putting the work load of difficult work on us before. Fortunately I no longer work there. So yes I feel your frustration very much so. Is there no higher up you can complain to? I would or get out if you can. I hope your situation gets better xx
ReplyHopefully, my situation gets better. Although, very unlikely, considering that she’s been having the same actions for the past months since she started working. I also forgot to mention that she’s done a terrible job at trying to hide her phone as she scroll in FB or insta. Forgets to even mute her phone at times. Hope she changes for the better. Or better resign when she’s not interested in her job at all.
ReplyTalk to your boss about this!
ReplyI’ve talked to my senior in the office. I’ve been waiting on whatever approach she does with her. Hopefully, she reports her once our head visits.
