A Composition of electric signals and liquid diamonds!
Yep, that’s what I like to call, Hans Zimmer’s S.T.A.Y and Mountains compositions from the movie Interstellar. Both songs whenever played hit spots and feelings unexplainable to a degree. S.T.A.Y always brings bitter-sweet memories and ends with me crying hard or smiling like a lunatic. It makes me feel desperation - a longing that alters my breath in anticipation of an event ( I am not sure good or bad) that’s bound to happen. It is a song of risk and of hope, of unused tears and secretive smiles. Sometimes it’s cruel but other times it’s a blessing.
Mountains resembles time, space and everything that can go wrong- the worst b between these two. It’s a song that brings to me memories of the transit I take to work every day in the wee hours of the morning or the silent and utter darkest hours of the night. It makes my blood rush and as the crescendo builds too does the feeling of pride that makes me close my eyes and realize my reality and my wings that always bring one beautiful memory to my mind - the scene where the jew living under the book thief’s house gets to watch the stars as if the only person in the world.
I guess after all electric signals that make up hopes dreams and nightmares clash and meld with sometimes unushed and other times let free like floods "liquid diamonds", called tears by the commoners... the ordinaries.
I call them ordinaries cuz some people are meant to be extraordinary and some people are just ordinaries....read that in Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment....it's a difficult book to read, but rewarding if you get through it....anyways the author makes a strong and agreeable case of extraordinaries vs ordinaries. I consider myself extraordinary just because I know I was never meant to be just another ordinary person....could be my confidence talking but yeah whatever..I am happy rn.
