what is happenning? please help me figure this out asap please.

I started talking to a guy and we seem to have a common friend circle but the after some months he starts to depart from talking with me and by that time I had already started to like him. I tried talking to him but he started to ignore my messages and didnot even message me at all and then I also started keeping my distance and avoided meeting him. It been i guess -8 months we didnot talked properly but used to meet casually in groups sometimes. It was my birthday and my friends wanted to come over to my place for a party and then I invited them along with him. He came along with the friends and he gave me the gift and it was the thing i most liked and i knew at one that it was him who choose it for me. We were having dinner and I was going to sit beside him but then the place was already occupied so i had to sit in between my other two friends (his friend and a my bff). At dinner, after he finished eating he came behind me and stood and started talking and then i went to take my desert till then he had already said in my sit and then i had to go sit in his sit. Then we watched a horror movie together with the group, he sat beside me, he teased me and even scared me once and then while going home, he said he feels scared to go alone to the parking area and said me to drop him off. He silently walked infront of me and me and my friend went to drop him off. We didnot talk over the walk and he said goodbye and left.

I felt that he was starting at my friend beside me the whole time we watched the movie and he even tried to start a conv with her over dinner. I just dont seem to get him and why would he need me to walk him to the parking area when it is just 2 min far from my house, he said he was scared to walk alone. one time he is nice and the other he turns cold.

so, this happened last week and and i also posted this on this page. but today something awkward happened. I also talk to his friend like sending reels and random talking sometimes but I always saw his friend as a friend only and then he sents me a reel saying I love you which the song line as: you should take it as a sign. I asked his friend what but he seems leave my message on seen. IDK what i should do anymore. His friend has been showing signs like telling i look pretty in a dress, I am too good and things. what should i do now? I thought his friend had a gf but it seems he broke up some months ago. I never though things will go this way.

can someone help me what i should do? I tried to clear his friend but he doesnot listen to me and they are bffs.

Idk why this feels like a movie scene but i really need your help to sort this out. please help me. idk what is happening anymore. The guy I like is acting too cold towards me and then this happened early in the morning. Please guys say me what i should do please.
