Since i was in primary, im a top achiever, i would go compete for our school and everything. Pandemic starts, everything fucked up, im still in honor roll but not high as i was. Lets just say from valedictorian to just top 4, i mean its still an achievement right? But for me and my fam its not, its a complete disgrace. Rn, i suck a math, i hate it when memories of my competitions are flashing back, it makes me disappoint. Theres no one to talk to, theres no one to spill how disappointed i am with my self for not understanding the lesson when everyone can. Im an introvert typa student and i barely have someone to explain me whats going on, it sucks seeing myself trying to understand, trying to analyze, trying to watch every videos that could possibly teach me how, but guess what? Still nothing.

That's all academic.
ReplyYou are placing too much importance on how you achieve at school. Schools are child minding centers that are here to prevent anarchy and to keep kids occupied. They aren't as important as you think they are. Kids don't have to know a lot of the things that are being taught. In fact, the only things they need to know are basic math and how to spell, read, and write. Many successful people have left school partway through high school because of a talent they have. They may be good at math so leave to be an engineer, or have a great business mind so leave to start their own business. I am retired now but I was very good at selling and I certainly didn't learn that at school. Many people out there are super at their jobs which they did not learn at school. So, don't worry about how you do there just do your best if you want. I failed every math test I ever did and didn't care. You are the one at school not your family.
