My Unsent Letter to my ex best friend

I loved you,I loved you as a friend and as somebody more than a friend. You’ll never know that though because you left me before I even got to tell you that,it was on November 26 2021 where you cut contact with me forever of course I got mad and deleted every photo and video we took together but It took me months to get over it because iv known you for so many years,I recently forgot about you until it was in April of 2023 where I drifted off in my thoughts and you were there,I texted you we exchanged a couple words,”how have you been?” “How’s school?” And then you left me on delivered. I waited and I waited for a response till I realized you wanted me to leave you alone so I did. I checked on your profile daily just to make sure how you are,and I saw you were better off without me and honestly that hurt knowing that someone I used to love completely forgot about me and moved on with their life not even thinking about me. As I’m looking I’m realizing that I’m slowly forgetting about you as well,I’m forgetting how you look,how you sound,how you walk,how you smile,what your favorite color is,what you love to eat,what your laugh sounds like. We both don’t know how we look like now or what kind of person we are anymore and honestly that stings alot . I miss you a lot and there’s still a part of me that loves you but it hurts knowing that you’ll never love or see me in that way even if we had a chance to make up for the lost time.
