I met a guy once who turned up his nose at girls he considered to be flashy. Yes, he had a type (everyone does) but his standards seemed a bit excessive. He was turned off by women who wore any makeup, painted their nails, dyed their hair, were confident, etc. In a nutshell, he went for the plain Jane submissive granola types but of course, they had to be natural beauties who didn't know their worth.
Is this insecurity or just a type?

Plain Janes doesn't equal submissive.
Replyit could be both though
ReplyWomen who dye their hair, put on heavy makeup, and be flashy. Typical are toxic types that are influenced by toxic social media and modern feminism. This guy who you talking to. Has he type or has a toxic experience? Coming from a male perspective I don't mind women who paint their nails, light on make-up, and are confident on friendly levels. For example: Like about Cats or Dogs or traveling. Instead of toxic confidence like talking about toxic partiality.
