I thought I first saw you when I was 13. She was beautiful, she was cute, she could make me laugh, she thought she was my friend. She was nice, but she wasn't you.
I thought I saw you when I was 15. She seemed wise, she seemed quirky, she was famous, she was charming, she was admirable from a distance, she ignored me. She wasnt you.
I was almost sure that I met you when I was 18. She was older, she was cute, she was nice to me, she kept me happy, you made me forget the pain of not having you by my side for sometime.
I thought I got you when I was 23. She was smart, she was asexual, she was different, she was distant, she was gone before I made sense of anything.
I thought I met you when I was 25. She was funny, she was cute, she made me laugh, she was beautiful, she gave me hope...but she left me. She was not kind to me, cause she wasnt you.
Now i'm travelling the world, in search of you. My love, when we meet, when I know I met you, when I finally kneel and ask you to be mine....I will tell you about all the places and people where I sensed you. All the times I thought I found you. I will tell you how every second of this search was worth the honour of kneeling infront of you. How every second spent away from you was only used to build a version of me that was worthy of you. How my life.....lead to you.
With all the love in my heart,
Your future love
