Do you ever feel really guilty for a couple of days over something small that you didn't do right? Like today, I was on the bus and didn't give my seat to an old man who got on, and now I can't stop thinking about it and asking for forgiveness. I just want to know if this happens to other people too because it happens to me a lot. I know I'll probably stop thinking about it in about three days.
I'm sorry to whoever you are. I've learned my lesson from this guilt, and I won't do it again. I'm truly sorry, stranger.

Why do you have to experience guilt before realising that you should have done the decent thing in the first place? Don't you just know that life is harder for older people as their bodies are weaker now.
ReplyHow can you just say that while not knowing them?? You dont know their life? They could be pregnant or disabled, maybe they broke a bone and thats why. Even if their body was in a perfect state, maybe smth was scaring them and thats why they felt unsafe standing up. How can you just say smth so insensitive over a few words that tell you nothing about their life while they CLEARLY do not feel good. You should feel guilty for this, it's just basic empathy.
ReplyI understand you I'm guilty all the time
