So I'm a healthy weight, and I don't have any crazy issues with my body image or anything, but for the sake of something to work towards and because I think it would look good aesthetically, I want to lose a little weight, just 10 pounds at the most really but the thing is I cannot seem to lose the weight. I've been working out 4 days a week for the past 3 weeks, and my weight has not fluctuated at all. No matter what time of day, I'm always 118 lbs. I'm not doing much cardio it's mostly full-body toning stuff. I'm assuming it's what I eat? I don't exactly eat well I just don't know where to start or what I should be eating. I usually have a cup of coffee before the gym come home and eat and egg on toast with some ham or something and maybe some fruit and sometimes I put some vegetables in my scrambled egg. Then I have some coffee and work on my art for a few hours and instead of eating lunch I usually just end up drinking coffee and some sort of snack like popcorn or something like that. For dinner I usually eat very little but usually some meat and potatoes and unfortunately idk how long its been since i ate a salad. Does anyone have a any tips on how to eat right? I want to be healthy there's just so much info out there i don't know what plans or system to follow.

I feel like I’ve lost a friend
Thoughts I’m a bit upset and a little let down of late by you, I don’t feel as close to you as we once were and I do respect that you are with someone n...
I'll say up front, I'm a biased commenter, Orexia and Arexia nearly took my life, and I totally respect your are feeling good about not having those issues. I think my message is fair and is absolutely well-intentioned, even with my backstory. You are SO right that there is so much information out there, it can be overwhelming and confusing -- What is healthy? I see you say you want to be healthy -- love that! -- and also that you have some motivations related to your appearance and having a goal to accomplish -- okay, sure, noted ---- and that your weight is already at a good spot.....hmmm, interesting. I see you list out intake in hopes you'll find answer to change, really mapping it out looking for answers. If I was in your shoes, I'd seek help from reputable places/people to explore this goal and question, not here -- Think about what resources can access to learn and talk about your nutrition and fitness with a medical professional? Speaking and learning from a licensed dietician can help you figure out what works for YOU and your goals individually, IMO way better and cooler than going it alone or scouring the internet for loads of contradictory advice. A PCP or other doctor could share, too, based on your unique needs. The internet and many people will have tips -- some harmless, some of it very much the opposite, even if it seems great at first. All here for wanting to be well and be happy with your appearance and have ambitions to smash, and I hope you find all of that in ways that are best for all of you; your brain and body and spirit together! Alright, preachy patty signing off, thnx much for giving this a read...just my 1 cent -- 2 cents, in this economy? ;)

ReplyTry to avoid eating after 6 o'clock and swap up your last dinner of meat and potatoes for a salad with healthy sauces. This sauce contains no sugar. salad with only a little salt and olive oil.also Replace the ham with beef or, or better yet, chicken breast. Exercise every day for at least an hour.
