Babe, your drinking is driving me crazy. You become difficult to talk to even about just random stuff. You don’t really look the same either. Your demeanor changes and you become argumentative very easily. The soft side of you leaves and the hurt person you have inside you from all the trauma in your life comes out. You’ve already been hospitalized once that I know of from going hard. You turn to alcohol when you’re happy, mad, tired, or stressed. You drink when you wake up on weekends. You’re in a bar 2-4 nights a week. It makes me sad. You have high blood pressure and still keep going. I feel like it’s affecting our intimacy. I want to have you in my life for as long as possible but I’m afraid you won’t be around long like your dad, because you didn’t get control. Please let me help you.

HEY! Annonymous fellow, why don't you rehabilitate your loved one?
My relative is alot like this. I identify with this very much. He's not going to give it up until he's ready to change. Alcoholism is a disease that can be treated if the person agrees to it of course. I hope you're able to make him see his need to change.
