So, I’ve talked with my senior and other workmate regarding the other one who barely works. They don’t want to further escalate the situation since that person might lower her morale and might resign.
She’s currently watching some YouTube video right now, outside in our office since an hour ago. I have like a lot of pics and video of her in case I might burst and just like show them to the HR. I did joke about it with them (other workmates) and they told me not to do that, especially when it can be resolved internally. But this has been going for as long as I can remember and I am frustrated because she’s getting paid by just lounging around.
They said she’s work smart, not work harder. I say, she’s just lazy af. My goodness.

She's got dirt on someone.
I'd be resigning immediately.
ReplyMy advice would be to slack off a little as well. Trying to get a colleague in trouble never goes down well, even when you do it for the right reasons. It could also lead to other colleagues mistrusting you.
In these situations I tend to stoop to the same level and do the minimum amount of work I can get away with. If anybody asks me why I'm not working hard then my answer is that I will only work as hard as the least productive person (who is getting paid the same as I am).
I don't have this issue in my current job but at my last place I got tired of this kind of shit so screwed around until eventually somebody decided to resolve the issue with the actual lazy people.
ReplyThe thing is we have different position. And I can’t slack of with mine since our head is directly and always asks us for updates. Meanwhile, she’s an admin. Although, her job position entails to prepare all the forms and whatnots, she lacks initiative to do so. Sometimes, when we get tired, we do her job of printing stuffs and whatnot.
