What do you do when you feel numb? Where do you go when you feel alone? Where do you go to scream into the void? Where do you go to get away from everything? What do you do when you feel lonely? How do you cope?

I knew I loved you when...
I knew I loved you when the World shuttered itself shut again and I was just happy to be in it. I knew I loved you when my body and mind mistook you for my own;...
I'm not the fittest to give advice, but just putting it out there for someone who might find it useful.
I cope with music, videos and talking with my mom, just family. Get Spotify, a subscription and search a playlist with 10000 (limit cap for playlists) created by someone else, randomize songs clicking the randomize button and enjoy music without doing the work for what to listen to (just search "10000 songs"). Videos, you could find your own YouTubers but I recommend Markiplier and Aurateur (you could open a video of any YouTuber you like, go to comments, open random channels from people who commented, go to "Channels" inside their profile to see who they are subscribed to (some do some don't) and start following or subscribing to any channels you recognize or like to quickly build a feed (you don't even need a YouTube channel, you just need a Google account, if you don't want a public presence)). And last but not least, family. Take your time during the day to take breaks and talk with family about the weather, your pets (which I consider pets family too), news, etc. It doesn't need to be forced, hopefully your family is not so disfunctional and you can talk with someone like your mom, etc.
This has helped me big time. I hope you got anything out of that. See I'm not trying to make anyone feel down or cringe at my comments, I'm just sharing my experience and trying to help the best I can for people who may or may not find it useful. I'm a down to Earth person, just saying, you might find relief in that, in someone who says that. Goodbye and take care.
ReplyWhen things are rough I go outside and look at the sky. It calms me down.
Sky makes me realize that it is always how it is. Sky doesnt seem to change much while I seem to change. If sky is so calm and seem content, why should I be taking what I am dealing with so seriously? Sky doesnt do much and is so dang content and here I am over doing shit and wondering "why am I suffering?" Yknow?
ReplySometimes I turn inward to try to look at myself. If it makes sense, I analyse where the problem comes from - why am I lonely, stressed, etc.? Then I turn to someone I think can relate to me and tell them how I feel. If I don't feel comfortable telling the whole truth I throw out hypotheticals, even though I know it's obvious to them that it's my problem. I also listen to music to cope if I don't feel like talking at all. But it does help to talk to someone. Nobody can handle being on their own for very long. Even the strongest person breaks down it's just a matter of time. The important thing in my opinion, is not boxing-up your feelings, be real and face them.
