I'm glad I didn't eat the ice cream 🍨

I thought to myself "don't eat the ice cream." There were a bunch of desserts at church this morning and the ice cream was the most appealing; I don't even know what kind, I just knew it had fudge flakes in it. But I did my best and stayed away... instead I ate a chocolate cupcake and a chocolate cake with great icing. I also at a little food, some chicken curry and some pizza later with avocados on it. Delicious. But soon after the chocolate cake, maybe an hour or less I had to poo, quick style and didn't quite make it, I did make it, bit I had a small accident. 😅

I was so busy that I didn't listen to my body quickly enough. But I'm so glad I didn't eat the ice cream... Cause that would have been a disaster. 🤣

You see today was my first big event where I wrote the program, got sponsors and invited all the kids from around town and did a whole event for them. I've been working on it for a month, and today was the big day. Many things did not go perfectly, but I didn't let any distractions stop me from moving forward with a smile on my face and pivoting.

My son is starting to cause disruptions and getting all the kids riled up, quick correction in front of everyone while my mike was hot, yessir. How about all the kids stopping to eat for 30 min. No problem. Youth leaders asking to split puppet time with water slide...where I'm supposed to be at both places. Time to pivot..."Husband--how about doing the whole puppet show three times yourself, while I run the water slide. "Just text me the script." What a team! We had fun and so did the kids. Sure there was some chaos but overall... I'm glad I didn't eat the ice cream. 🤣
