The woman won’t act the way that you wish

The woman you are supposed to love and to kiss

The woman you want to spend your life with?

Later you wonder why her heart is bruised and broken,

Down on her knees struggling to breath

Inside her heart is breaking, but later you say ‘you must be faking’ ‘cos that’s not the way it’s supposed to go’ ‘stop doing the pressure thing my love it’s time for you to go’

That night she felt like her heart would stop but you wouldn’t stay in case she made something up ‘like I touched you when you didn’t want to be touched, just like the story you told me I think you made up’

What’s becoming so clear is that you don’t really care
