My thoughts (Trigger warning)

I've been thinking a lot about cosmic indifference, about how the universe is silent towards our needs and thoughts. It seems true, we call out to space and we got almost nothing, if higher beings are real, like gods and deities, why would they care about us? We as a species are so insignificant and primitive, technological stagnation at one point is almost inevitable. Not even FTL travel can get us out of this pocket of the universe we've been trapped in, why would anything with so much power pay attention to us? We are too limited to continue to grow, nothing really matters does it? I've had my fair share of existential crises before, but I'm starting to think that these thoughts are true.
