I called out, but nobody came. The only companions I had in that moment, were deafening silence, an unending misery, and utter despondency. Requiem of a sad soul.
To those I loved and have faded from my embrace despite my pleads. I curse you with the torment and sorrow I could not bare, may you suffer as I have. To th...
I had to look up the word despondency, I don't think I've ever heard a word so fitting, I can relate. We live in such a broken world; people were made for connections and relationship and yet real friendships don't even seem to exist anymore. Everyone seems so concerned about how their life looks on the outside (in public, social media, etc.) that they forget how to be themselves. Imagine if everyone displayed their authentic selves, the them that's inside their head, the them that doesn't portray as perfect all the time. The them that's like us.
What's going on in your mind? I'm sorry you're going through a hard time right now, you are not alone. Physically no one may be next to you or hearing your voice pleading but there are many of out here who feel similar. I know that doesn't help any, that there's a world of difference between being alone with your thoughts and being able to be alone with your thoughts while being physically next to another soul for nothing other than comfort of "being" there as we endure our sufferings.
