Okay, I gotta set something straight. I'm not one to interfere with the way somebody grooms their body. That being said, I would never bring this to a man's attention but I have to yell into the Novni void because somebody has to put a stop to the madness, so it might as well be me.
Fellas: two things.
1. Starting a beard. If you don't quite have enough hair to form an even and uniform beard, please don't let those wispy, sparse hairs get out of control. If you're young, keep shaving until all of your facial hair catches up and starts forming a nice 5 o' clock shadow. That when you're ready to take it further. If you're older and are still dealing with the wispy hairs, a beard may not be in the cards for you and it's okay. You'll look more handsome with a bare face than those scraggly hairs curling all over the place.
2. Growing it out. Once you've got enough hair to get a beard going, trimming/grooming is essential. Those fluffy, out of control, ungroomed neck beards are a terrible look and they make you look sloppy. 😞 Absolutely no man on earth looks good with those cloud beards. Most women love beards but the key is to sculpt that neckline to really make your jawline pop. Daily brushing also trains the hair to grow downward instead of puffing out all over the place. Beards are amazing when groomed correctly. Even if you're going for the long Viking beard look, you've gotta wash, condition, and oil that hair everyday so it grows healthy. Beards also require daily maintenance and must be keep clean or else they will trap bacteria and cause issues for a lady's downstairs area or a staph infection on your skin or others' during kissing, etc. It's important for all beards to be fresh, clean, and well maintained for the ultimate effect. Otherwise, you end up getting yelled at on Novni.
Happy bearding! 🧔

Beards are stupid (RIP beards)
I'm letting you know beards are over. We'll look back on 2013-2018 with disgust. Know how we make fun of people from the '80s for looking like idiots? Well, tha...

Why does being in a relationship make me want to self harm?
I feel like every time I'm in a relationship and something goes wrong I want to cut myself again. When I was single I didn't consider it once, but my world feel...
"Most women love beards" <- this surprised the heck outta me. Really, is this true?
I'm a guy and I've gone through periods of clean shaven, scruff, goatee and full beard. But I've always thought it was kinda yuck, and the only times I've sported facial growth was when I was just too idgaf to shave. Like now I have a 5 o clock shadow but that's just because idgaf.
Interested to hear if any other ladies chime in that beards are better. Gay men too, please share your opinion. (Manicured) beards or nothing?
ReplyNot the OP but a lady nonetheless. Beards are attractive!!! I do agree that they look good when trimmed but to each his own. It depends on each face I think.
ReplyLots of women don't like beards. If you do have a beard, a stubble length is the most attractive length to women. It's the length of facial hair which is crucial. I'd also advise that if you are fair haired, not to have a beard at all. Women prefer dark hair on men. The Qoves Studio Youtube channel will support my evidence of beard length in scientific papers.
ReplyFive o'clock shadow/stubble is acceptable as long as it's dark hair and on a attractive face. Any other length of facial hair is not acceptable to me as a female. It's not sexually attractive in my opinion.
