its amazing how people can sit at a cemetery and blog and post pictures of themselves and say things like "family reunion in a cemetery, " and ignore other living family all together, don't they realize only bones and dust are in the ground and tombs, and behind walls. The loved one is reborn or whatever one chooses to believe, there soul isn't in the ground..............

Exactly. talk to your relatives still among the living. The ones in the cemetery aren't there, just their shell of the former existence.

ReplyIt's all that's left of those who are no longer here with us. It's proof that they existed. It's a comfort to know that. It's like paying respect to their existence by visiting them. If we're being all scientific about bones and dust, then they’re not even reincarnated, their cells just stopped functioning so they lost the ability to keep their heart running and brain functioning and ceased to live. Yeah that's not very comforting but it's the truth. But we tell ourselves that souls exist, just like we go to their bones and act like it means something.
