I keep oscillating between the thoughts - Does this get better? - The answer is a simple YES or NO.. Somedays, the hardest thing to do is to motivate yourself by saying - "Give it a try, it might just be better today" other days you just want to give up.. In a recent review meeting with the doctor - I had asked him this question : "Does this get better? I am so so tired" and the response came "Madam, you will eventually learn to live with depression and manage your anxiety - that's as good as it will get in the recent future" - I was disappointed, I was hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel but the darkness just doesn't seem to end.. No matter how many things are happening around - I feel numb.. It is just like going through the motions with 0 thought or emotion.. How do you get past this? Does this ever get better?

Why Am I Like This?
I have a wonderful family who raised me well. I was always a child that yelled. I was spanked to be quieted down but that didn’t work. We moved and I thought...

Life is a constant shit show, it never gets better! People will tell you to look to religion, look to family, both are fucked up ideas, one as archaic and fool hardy as the other. Only truth in life is to count on yourself and keep swimming upstream.
ReplyYes, it would eventually get better. Trust me when i say nothing stays the same for a long time. You would feel like not doing anything. You feel tired from everything. It happens for every individual out there. You are not alone. The difference lays on how you take it up. How you cope with it. it all lies on how you are with yourself. cause eventually you are the only one who is gonna stay with yourself even at the toughest times. Talking about the light at the end of the tunnel? Do you think the person making through the tunnel is 100% sure of seeing the light? does he actually know that there is light at the end? NO! Absolutely no! He doesnt! It is what is called hope. the longlasting hope to see it eventually is what makes him going. You got this! Fighting!
