fuck me. I've had severe acne from before puberty, n recently it just got really bad, to the point where everyone would non-hesitantly point it out to me. my acne flairs up with sugar n so I decided to take things seriously n cut off absolutely all sugar from my diet,not just that but all and every fast food, fried foods, dairy, sugary drinks, ALL of it. my skin cleared up a bit but that prolly because I'm seeing a dermatologist. what I'm saying is that it's so miserable without all the above mentioned food items.there's only handful of things I can eat, plus I love sweets, God knows how tough it was to cut off my coffee/sugar. no bread, no cheese, no pasta, no chips, no soft drinks, no fruit juices(I can only eat whole foods because fruit juices spike up ur glucose levels) no nothing!!! n I would happily continue to do so if I saw any good results, but no! my skin has been better but there's no drastic difference(if any) I've been spending so much on my derm n medications n it just doesn't feel enough, what more can I fucking cut off?? I see my friends eat to all their hearts content, n still have better skin than me, so much junk, so many sweets, so much fried food, n energy drinks(I die b4 drinking one) n still seem to be doing alright n that fucking infuriated me because I'm so conscious with what I put on my face, body(clothes), n also in myself(most imp) n what do I get in return? I don't smoke, I don't drink(quiet literally) don't vape, insert don't have any bad habits, my eating is clean, I wash my bedsheet n pillow covers every 3 days, am so conscious and careful of my surroundings, wear sunscreen daily, don't go out in the sun if possible n mu friend doesn't even use sunscreen💀 mind u the uv index currently(in fucking november) here is 6-7, 6 to 7 on average wtfff. n still somehow they're doing better than me?? the worst part is im starting to question if what I'm doing is even worth it.pls tell if it's not gonna go to waste, my efforts I mean.

You have to be consistent with it. And you can still eat some of the mentioned foods occasionally
