To him
The sun of fruits stains my fingers orange and taints my scent with citrus
Dripped all over my hands, running down my arms
I can only smile
Sometimes I wonder if you remember those times
Half a orange, it was always half of my orange I gave to you
It always had bothered me how i could never finish one by myself
but you told me a secret that runs in my veins
which I devote to every second of our time
just as I devote every drip of juice to you
I gave you my whole fruit just as I gave you my full heart
I am just surprised
not to receive the other half.
