Chess in itself is a complicated game. Keeping track of moves, pieces, threats, attacks, and even the time on the clock can be a lot to take in. My brain has always been able to process this complex game very easily. What I can't figure out, however, is why I'm looked at differently for playing. I just want to play, to compete, to have fun and do what I love, but I hear comments made about things that are unrelated. Why do the people around me comment on my body while I play? Since when did this game, the game so well known for being accessible to everyone, become so toxic? Why, when I'm playing against a boy, does he always think I'm flirting with him?

Boys think with their dicks when it comes to girls and imagine these sorts of things. Lots of things have become toxic because people are getting worse and worse as time goes by.
ReplyMales like to sexualise things. They can't help themselves. Feel sorry for them.
ReplyWhen someone comments on your body, announce in a very loud voice to everyone else just exactly what they said. Call that person out and turn it back on them. Say to everyone, this person here just made a remark about my xyz.
