so i've never had a boyfriend, i've never even been in a talking stage. i've never gotten attention from boys. all they ever looked at was my friends. they all had at least one relationship and experienced so many things i could just dream of. i don't know what i'm doing wrong but boys never even look at me. i'm currently not sure of my feelings. there's this one boy that i've liked for more than three years now. but we've never really been talking and he never looks at me. and there's his brother, we send each other snaps and he once told me that i looked beautiful. but he's not my type and i really don't want anything from him. i just noticed that i like attention. no matter where i get it from, as soon as i get attention, i want them to like me. i've been making up scenarios in my head about my dream guy and how he is. i just realized that i might never meet that guy, because there aren't such guys except for the one i've talked about, the one that i liked for three years. he's just perfect for me, he's everything i'm looking for in a boyfriend, but we don't talk. i just don't know what i'm doing wrong. could you please help me? thank you :)

Should I hold on or let him go?
I know every story has two sides. I'll share my story. I have an online friend since 7+ years. We became too close in the first year after that he kinda ghost...
Maybe when you are older guys will pay you the attention you want. Or maybe now boys know you are an attention seeker and that is why they ignore you.
ReplyFocus on your education. We live in a world where 2 incomes are required when we get out in the real world and leave our parent's home, so definitely obtain a skill or a degree so you can build a career. In the meantime join some sports or hobby groups, learn a musical instrument, do some volunteer work, build your faith (no religion required). Romantic love works best, in my humble experience, when the boy chases the girl. And in time, you will catch someone's eye, and the cat and mouse game will start. Stay focused on your goals for now. Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible, intangible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
And since death is the only guarantee in life, Mary, Mother of Christ, intercede for us with your prayers, now, and at the hour of our death.
