hey, I need advice to choose between two options with following context:
I feel anxious each time there is a group project at my school. I feel like it's hard to contribute to any group because I feel stupid. it's hard to respond to discussions by giving my opinions and arguments. I always want myself to give meaningful responses, but I feel like I know nothing and I always need explanation. I think that makes me look stupid and I don't like it. then I become shy and I can't talk about anything, and always feel awkward with people. I'm also an international student whose English is not my first language, who find it difficult to fit in any social circle or even to work with any schoolmate. because it's a master's program, there is a large age gap between the youngest and the oldest, and mine is above the average. besides feeling stupid, I also feel old. additionally, my past group projects make me terrified to work with others.
my second semester has just started this week, and I'm not sure if it's better to take classes that require fewer group projects (or even none), or classes with materials I find interesting but with a lot of group projects.

i am afraid of everything because of my crazy toxic family and i am stuck with them , i lost everything because of them and i don't know what to do ....
Because your major concern is with group projects it will be better for you to take classes with fewer or no group projects. you will feel much more comfortable.
ReplyI've always read that we should focus on our areas where we are strong...our strengths, not on areas where we are weak. I hope this helps, best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible, intangible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
Mary, Mother of Christ, intercede for us with your prayers, now, and always.
