So, this is kind of a complicated story, so, bare with me. Lol. So my dad has a friend, I'll call him C. And I haven't seen C in about 2 years, but my dad keeps in touch with him, and I've changed a lot since C last saw me. He's about 12 years older than me, and well I'm 17. I've always kind of had a crush on C, and always thought he was really funny. He never paid attention to me that way, but he would talk to me, and he was always really goofy. Well I seen him the other day, I was with my dad, and we were with some other friends and C was there. Well he just Idk, he kept looking at me. Like not normal looking at me, like I would be walking around and talking to the other friends and he was staring at me, or if I looked at him, he was looking at me, then looking away real quick, like he was trying to hide it. Keep in mind this isn't normal, so the eye contact, and the staring was different, it didn't make me uncomfortable, but I can't stop thinking about it. At one point I thinking he was like checking out my front, like from my face down. I don't know if it was anything. I do it to some times like talking to someone then looking down. Am I thinking to much about this? Is it nothing, and just me, or does it seem like something else? C kept on looking at me, but I seen something in his eyes, like longing? maybe. What do you think anything to help ease my mind. I don't want to talk to my parents, or anyone else, because they will kill him, if it was anything or not. And I don't want that, I just need like opinions, you know?

It's a big age gap as you are still a teen. He's neary thirty. If you were forty and he was early fifties, then the same age gap isn't a big deal. So it's not the age difference per se but the age the youngest person is, if the youngest person is a very young adult, which you are.
