When I was around 8, my brother pinned me down and hovered over me. Then he got up, closed the door, and came back on top of me. He didn’t do anything, he didn’t rape me or anything. My sister came into the room shortly after and told him to get off me. At that age, I didn’t really understand what was happening…I just thought we were playing, but I also kinda knew he was probably going to kiss me. He was staring directly into my eyes. I remember the look in his eyes…they were so fixated yet so empty.
I remember another time when he just laid his body on top of mine, again he didn’t do anything, but he just laid there. I remember laughing because I thought he was just playing a weird new game he made up, but then I stopped laughing because I guess I felt uncomfortable. Eventually, he got up…I think I told him to stop or maybe he just decided to. I can’t remember that part fully.
Idk. I mean I know this was…wrong… I guess, but I still don’t know what to think about this. Should I just let this go and move on since nothing technically happened?? I’m 18 now, so this happened a while back. He is older than me, but he was also a kid when that happened, so maybe he didn’t fully understand what he was doing.

It happened with me too. I have let go of it. He was also a kid back then and he didn't know what he was doing. It hurts sometimes when I remember it but I do know that my brother also feels ashamed about it.
