Would you rather watch how the pyramids were built in Egypt or watch an Aztec ritual to Mฤcuฤซlxลchitl
ReplySecond perhaps, watching pyramid building seems exhausting but again there are stories in Islam that come from Egypt and I find pyramids in themselves pretty cool so tbh can't choose lol
ReplyAlso not all Muslims are Arabs and not Arabs are Muslims so not all of us get pyramid knowledge privilege lol
ReplyAre your customs strict? Is everyone supposed to wear head coverings?
ReplyHi honestly I don't find it that strict cuz a lot of us grow up with it so it's liks our norm. Head coverings are not obligatory on children, only those girls who have hit puberty. Even after that , it is ultimately the woman's choice. I wear it to submit to God since it is a rule he kept for us. However men are acc supposed to cover too according to a few schools of thoughts from navel to knee. Men are also commanded to lower their gaze more strictly than women. Men have to kind of avoid looking at women they can get married too while women don't have it as strict like we can watch TV with men without lowering or gaze if there's no lust involved - this is what I've heard from religious scholars
ReplyWe all are from other -other religion so what you people wants to post.but I have a
Question for you all why you Muslim are very strict ? When I see meny Muslim family they are very strict in there customs , so I just think why
ReplyHi I wrote this because there are many misconceptions surrounding Islam. What would you consider strict however? I mean I pray , wear the hijab , fast and try giving charity. My parents give ab obligatory sum of money from their gold and salaries to donate to the poor. I have to do a religious pilgrimage once in a lifetime. I try not to intermix too much with men but I prefer girl friendships anyways. I go to college, I study , I play games ,I read ,I write . I ask a lot of questions, I really like aesthetic stuff and I can play badminton, I can swim too and play darts. Acc participated in a ladles swimming competition and won hehe. Sure my dad's a bit protective and won't let dudes show up at my house randomly but not would I lol. I've gone to the beach , amusement and water parks. I go out to restaurants, my friend's houses or the mall. I would point out a lot of extremely strict customs are simply cultural not religious. The whole idea of having a scarf on in front of I'm laws - cultural. Wearing a scarf when female guests come over - cultural. Not giving your daughters education - cultural. Treating son as superior to daughter - cultural.
ReplyNice culture I was like it
