First love.

We spoke today. It’s been a decade and we always find a way to speak even with new relationships between us. I am in a committed relationship.. I mean we just bought a house and that’s serious enough to tell me we’re getting engaged soon.. I also saw a picture of a ring in my boyfriend’s phone so I know it’s happening. I don’t know why I always feel like I can never forget him. I know we’re not compatible a lot of the things we do don’t match but I can’t help but to get tied up with the “what if?”. I sometimes wonder if we will cross paths again. I wonder what this feeling is. He was just my high school/college boyfriend. We’ve put each other through hell and back. Was it really love?
