Confused if he is interested in me

So I was friends with this guy in school and then he switched schools when we were 10. After that we lost touch but used to follow each other on social media a few years later.

He reconnected with me 2 months back by replying on my Instagram story. He also asked me if I could meet for catching up and we eventually met and vibed really well.

Ever since we reconnected we almost talk daily on texts and we meet every week. It’s mostly him who makes the plans to meet. He has asked me to go watch the sunset and flamingos, dinner, different restaurants, we meet for walks, etc.

We talk about everything and we both are single. He told me he isn’t into anyone and I know it for sure.

We vibe really well and like I said he asks my opinions on relationship related things and vice versa.

It’s just that so far neither of us has dropped any major clear hints about how we feel for each other and I’m scared I’m starting to like him, without knowing if he is even interested in me.

Is it normal for a guy to talk to a newly made friend everyday for hours? Is it normal for him to make meet-up plans? Or am I overthinking and I’m just a friend to him?
