I have this one ex friend…

So I am in a friend group with 3 other girls, we will call them Anna, Bailey, and Kasey. We cut Bailey off because she has an obsession with our periods. This is mainly because Bailey hasn’t gotten her period yet and really wants it. I got mine at 10 and I wish I never did. Anna and Kasey hate their periods too. I understand feeling left out when you’re the only friend in the group who hasn’t had a period yet, but she’s taken things to the extreme.

Here is a list:

-She tracks our cycles and announces which one of us are on our periods or ovulating to the entire school. I don’t need the whole school knowing I’m on my period. When Anna was ovulating once, she screamed Anna is ovulating she’s probably feeling extra womanly and horny. Kasey and I had to hug her as she was crying.

-Whenever she hears someone changing their pad or tampon or sees someone carry it she takes not and keeps track that they have their period. Not only does she have our menstrual cycles memorized but nearly every girl in the freshman class’s cycles.

-One day we were on a field trip to the zoo and I was on my period that day. She heard me change my pad and said Hannah, you’re on your period? There were a bunch of people in line in the bathroom that day.

-She stalks peoples instagram and VSCO accounts for bathroom pictures to see if a box of pads or tampons is showing. She also goes on girls twitter accounts and searches period to see if they have tweets about their period.

-She goes around the school with a picture of a random girl from our school on her phone and surveys the school if they think that girl has ever had her period or has never had hers. It’s creepy.

-She asks nurses if a certain person has ever had their period before. Thankfully the nurse keeps that information a secret for everyone’s sake.

-She purposefully drops hundreds of tampons on the floor and asks men to pick them up for her so she can show them she is a woman.

-She fakes her period and fakes ovulation. Bailey and I have had a few classes together so I witnessed this: One day when she got dress coded for wearing something inappropriate and she uses the excuse that she’s ovulating and when women ovulate they feel womanly and sexy.

-When we were at Anna’s house one day playin a game, we heard a sound and Kasey turned her head, something normal right? Bailey said something along the lines of Wow Kasey the way you move your body is so womanly and mature. Is it because you started your period? She believes we do everything maturely because we have become women and she hasn’t.

-She calls women who have had their periods before Eves. She asks people if a certain girl is an Eve (a woman). She thinks that Eve granted us our periods and that once you get your period you have a special relationship with Eve (Kind of like how Christians have a relationship with God, if you know what I mean). And that we can talk to her.

-She tells us we need to dress more mature because we are women and she’s not so she has an excuse to dress like a kid.

-She also thinks there is something called the women’s club which is some club that Eve leads and it’s women who have had their first periods before. There is no such thing.

-She also asks personal questions based on what day of our cycle we are on. For example:

Oh Hannah you’re on day 25 are you starting to feel PMS symptoms.

-She thinks pads and tampons are the most womanly things ever. There was one girl in one of my classes who had a tampon in her pocket and Bailey came up to her saying OMG you’re a woman congratulations.

Nobody likes Bailey.
