Partner never removes bluetooth earbud

I feel like screaming! Not that he would even notice!! When I say he never removes it, that's no exaggeration. He falls asleep with it in, wakes up and it's in allll day and night without a single break except to shower and that's only because he has no choice. Right back in before he's even dry. He's always listening to YouTube videos. We have a 2.5 year old son and I feel like he will start to notice soon that dad isn't always present even when he's home. It feels so fucking dismissive, disinterested and disengaged. Like he's just hollow and I only ever have a fraction of his attention because I'm not as interesting as some random YouTuber. We have talked about it, I have told him how I feel and that it hurts my feelings. And that it absolutely doesn't help his mental health. He is the most unmotivated human I have ever met. Never wants to be productive or go out and do fun stuff with his family, never plans anything for us. He is so tuned in to the digital world just being beamed into his brain, it absolutely contributes to his inability to engage with the real world. I work just as many hours per week as he does and I take care of literally everything around the house so it's not like he just desperately needs to decompress from work. He has a job where he literally gets to have them in his ears all day there too. He shows zero indication of caring about how I feel about it or any desire to change. Im about to lose my shit I swear. It feels so lonely. If we didn't have a son who I know he loves, I probably would have left I'm so frustrated. Just needed to vent.
