My Unsent Letter

From a distance, you've always been a captivating presence in my life. Even though we haven't spoken in forever, you were my crush then and remain so to this very day. Every time I saw you, it felt like an electric shock—a jolt of surprise and nervousness.

Despite this overwhelming feeling, I found myself seeking out opportunities to cross paths with you on campus. I desperately wanted to say hello outside of the classroom, but each time we passed by each other, I couldn’t muster the courage. My head was always down, and I couldn’t bring myself to make eye contact.

I spent many nights rehearsing conversations in my mind, dreaming of how I could talk to you. But I never found the nerve to make it happen. I don’t fully understand why these feelings have persisted, but you have appeared in my dreams throughout the years, and perhaps that’s why the thoughts of you remain alive. I genuinely wish you’re out there living your best life, surrounded by people who love you and who you love in return. Take care always.
