I am a trainer, and it's been three months since I received my salary.
As a result, all the faculty members decided not to work until we received our wages.
However, some students complained to the ministry (the people in the top hierarchy).
The ministry immediately sent two officers to inspect the situation. They visited the training center and, in front of the students, asked me, "Why are we not holding classes?"
They also asked the students some basic but irrelevant and outdated questions that no one remembers. When the students couldn't answer, the officers accused me of not teaching properly and advised me to continue taking classes, regardless of the salary issue.
However, I am just an employee—how can I work without receiving my salary on time?
I started taking classes again today, but when I spoke to the students, they admitted they had prior knowledge of the officers' surprise visit and were told not to inform the faculty.
I’ve always supported the students, both officially and personally, but now I feel like they are against us.
We were the victims, but now we've become the culprits.
This is the time when the students should have supported us, but instead, they complained.

I may be too young and naive to understand about teachers and their salary stuff. But I was a student, and complaining to the ministry about the teacher not teaching? Hah, no way, no class is way fun. The only who does the complaining is probably either the parents or some snitch defending someone else. If you talk to your students that you stop teaching because you didn't receive your salary, I'm sure all of the students understand it and will defend you when questioned by ministry. But really, I think you should just quit after not getting paid for more than 2 months in any job.
ReplyI want to quit but as of now I don't have any option. These days getting a new job is hard.
